Because it's not true.
Actually, I have not had anything interesting to talk about.
Currently, I'm sitting inside of Starbucks, blogging and drinking a venti Passion Tea Lemonade
and being annoyed that they ran out of flat lids for my cup.
I have an irrational hatred for the rounded lids.
Also, the girl sitting next to me...smells like mothballs.
I wish I were kidding.
So, what have I been up to?
Just going to work,
going to sleep,
going to Starbucks (since I discovered that I can pay for Starbucks with my iPhone, I'm even more obsessed. Not that that makes any sense, but whatever).
repeat.
Exciting, right?
There has been a lot of life thrown in the mix as well.
All good, though!
Except for the heat.
Oh my word. I can't take it anymore.
I hope it snows neck deep to a giraffe this winter.
If for nothing else, but to piss off all of my Facebook friends
who constantly post about how much they "love summer".
Really? You love sweating profusely in humidity so thick it feels like you're eating air
when you go outside?
Oh well, to each their own.

I hate summer.
And I complain about it.
A lot.
Sorry.
I haven't bought any makeup since June!

That is about to change.
You know I'm always obsessed with something, so you wanna hear my latest iPhone app obsessions?
They are: Instagram (duh), Frametastic (you can make photo collages and send them to Instagram, aNote (a to-do list, shopping list and more--this keeps me SO organized), Gossip Junkie (all the celeb gossip in one app, you can choose which site you want to read from), WhatsApp Messenger (like BBM).

All in all, my life is good.
Just been feeling kind of lazy in these dog days of summer.
But....last night HPB and I took his Psycho Pup on a walk,
and I felt a tiny tinge of coolness in the air!
Change is on the horizon!
And so is Clemson football season!

Oh my gosh, it has been so unbearably hot and humid these last few weeks. However, its "cold" this week with temperatures in the mid 80s! YAY!

Yesterday evening it dipped down to 94 & we were giddy about that.
I concur - summer is ok at best. It was fun when I was a kid because that meant no school..but now - it just means constant tourists, sweltering heat, sweating profusely & hating to see what my electric bill will be.
I'm ready for the fall and I hate the rounded lids as well!!!
I think we are living the same life. I've had very little to blog about lately. And seriously, I'm so glad I'm not the only person who is not obsessed with summer. Fall has always been my favorite season, and I love the slight coolness that has been in the air around here lately. Plus, football season, duh!
