What the heck is all this, you ask? This is me counting the ways to say NO to my roommate. She and her boyfriend broke up today and she's not moving way up North anymore
How did I really tell her?
"Sorry. Already reserved the new one bedroom. Non-refundable deposit paid!"

Just tell her you've already made plans and are excited to try something new. Boy this moving situation is throwing you curve balls right and left. Can't wait to hear all about your well-deserved new pad soon!
You will love living by yourself. Being responsible can be overwhelming but also liberating and you don't have to think about anyone else's needs (at least not in your home) when you just want to blare your music or you need things absolutely quiet or whatever your needs may be. Glad you already had your plans made :)
Good for you!!
I love living on my own :)! You definitely will, too!
You definitely don't need to feel the least bit guilty for telling her no.
YAYAYA good for you!!
Stay strong!!
Good on ya, Pink Owl! Assert yourself!

Boo for her cheating on her boyfriend. That's never good.
On a good note, CONGRATS on getting your own place! Independence is THE BEST!
