Ummmm.....Seriously?

I worked all weekend. Friday through Sunday. 36 hours total. I maybe got 15 hours of sleep all weekend. Today, I come home, have breakfast, get in snuggly PJ's and crawl in my smooshy bed. Out. Like a light. I was dreaming of the beach.

Until....I woke up a mere 3 hours later. Rudely awakened. To the heavy stench of gasoline. As if someone had poured it all over me. And the incredibly LOUD sound of a chainsaw right outside my open window.

I guess today was National Trim The Shrubs Day and I missed the memo.

So, I waited. Until there was dead silence. Made eye contact with Mr. National Trim the Shrubs Day and slammed my window with all the force I could muster. Seriously, my middle finger had a major itch. I, being the Southern lady that I am, did not scratch that itch.

Until I closed the blinds. No one could see me, but it made me feel better anyway. Sort of.

Now, my room smells like an Exxon station, dust is floating in the air and I'm one grouchy, sleepy, Southern chick who just flipped off a man with a chainsaw. After I closed the blinds?

I think I need a day job.

Ugh, I hate that! So sorry this happened to you! I feel your pain, they are building a bank next to our apt complex and feel the need to start working at 8am on a Saturday morning. How rude!!

Oh NO! I would have flipped out & probably ended up with that chainsaw going through me, eeek! That's the worst..this winter I've been dealing with an annoying neighbor that LOVES shoveling & scraping their walk at like 5am. Grr.
