Ever have a U.F.G.D.? What?!? You don't know what that is? OK. Well, I'll let you in on little secret. My best friend and I call each other when we're having a U.F.G.D. and we get permission to bitch about it for a whole day. U.F.G.D. stands for: Ugly, Fat, Gross Day. Yep, that's what I'm having today.
Today, I'm not liking my hair (I'm typing this with root touch up on my skanky roots--gotta keep up with the time), I feel fat and oh my jeebus, do I have pasty, WHITE skin! Ewww, gross, blah.
I was looking at some pictures from a mere two years ago and my skin seemed much smoother, my hair was a great color and I had a freaking tan. Today...my pores seem the size of Texas, I HATE my hair color and I've sworn off the tanning bed (but, dammit, I need to do something about this flourescent skin of mine).
Look peeps, I can't be chipper every day right? Ugh, gotta go pluck this forest better known as my eyebrows.....

No one has a tan in November though....don't fret. Winter tans just look ridiculous and obviously fake anyway, plus they kill your skin. Pale is beautiful :)
Oh My Gosh... I have UFGD days all the time!!! I just didn't know that is what they were called, love it.
If I'm having that kind of day (or week) I try to have a "maintenance day." Workout in the morning, dye my hair, put my teeth bleaching tray in, mani and pedi. A makeover at the mall make-up counter helps and I've had airbrush tans before. It's so hard being a girl. :)
I have a date with my tweezers later... haven't touched my eyebrows since Halloween! EEK!

I totally get it. I have a lot of the same problems. My eyebrows are starting to behave like catepillars, apparently my shampoos not working because i have buildup, my pores are also HUGE, my thighs seemed to have sprouted cellulite, and Im just all around gross. No clothes look the way I want them....
Tomorrow will be a better day right? For the both of us!
I have been having a lot of these days lately. My skin looks worse than it did when I was a teenager and the hair...well, I really don't know what is going on with it! At least the glow from the Christmas lights and all the holiday candles will help make us look prettier!!

I have definitly had days like these!! Sometimes I look in the mirror and wonder who that extremly pale person is!! I too have tried to quit tanning in a tanning bed, but the stuff in a bottle just doesn't work the same!

I must agree...there's nothing like a cold, gray November day, and a little pre-holiday stress to bring on a U.F.G.D.
I've resigned myself to the fact that I will remain a lighter shade of pale in the winter. Real tan bad for health and ages skin, faux tan smells (literally). What's a girl to do? Cashmere turtlenecks, cords and bronzer on the face! Or...snarl like the fugly dog! :)

Yep I have many of those. Got an appt. on Wed for the hair and the brows. Gah I feel for you. I swore off the tanning bed too......

I absolutely understand! I work for Clinique and get glimpses of myself all day in the mirrors and sometimes it's hell on earth! And that dog is terrifying, but hilarious! Tomorrow will LOOK and FEEL better!
