So, right this very second I'm lying here in my bed watching a marathon of The Real Housewives of Orange County (my favorite and by far, the classiest of all the Housewives). My 3 year old nephew is sleeping right beside me. I picked him up at my brother's tonight so he could spend the night with me (for the first time) and we went to eat at Chick-fil-A. He is such a sweet little boy! I know he's my nephew but he is so good, really. He is not spoiled (well, he is but doesn't act like it). He always says "please" and "thank you" and if he spills something or knocks something over he always says "sowwy"--it just melts my heart. After Chick-Fil-A we went to Wal-Mart to get our "supplies". In the morning we are having a COOKIE PARTY! We got sprinkles, cookie dough, icing, candy canes, and chocolate chips. Oh, and cupcake candies b/c Jackson thought they would "wook ahhsome on our coowkies"! We're making cookies and two pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving. He called my cell phone twice on my way over to ask me: "Are you in my neighborhood yet?" He was so excited!
My HUGE turkey is in the fridge thawing out and I sure hope it thaws by Wednesday night! I'm going to prepare it Wednesday night so I can put it in the oven on Thursday morning at 5am! I love making the Turkey each year and this will be my 5th year making it.
So, tonight, one more thing to add to my "What I'm Thankful For" list is this sweet little angel breathing so sweetly beside me. I'm not a mom but I can't imagine loving a child more than I love my nephews!

Aww that is too sweet! He sounds so precious! I love it when I get to babysit or have my little 8 yr old sister over for sleepovers. She gets so excited and it makes me so happy that she actually wants to see me, ha! :)

Your nephew sounds just adorable! You are very lucky he is so sweet. Mine is 17 and everytime I talk to him it's all about which girls (yes, plural) he's "hooking up with" or the party he went to last weekend. Treasure the cookie parties while you can!
The Real Housewives of Orange County is by far my fave too! I'm not a fan of the rest...those orange county girls are awesome!

I'll be adding you to the faves fo sho! your description of the dog, just about made me DIE laughing.! As for the OC wives.. girl, the NEW SEASON starts TONIGHT! can i get a woot woot! The ATl housewives.. oh good lord, how i am SO thankful i do not have women like that in my life! cant wait for the season finale tonight- there is gonna be a whole lotta smack talkin from the previews of it on tv! we may run into each other some day- as my all time childhood BFF lives in Greenville!
